Recover File from Teams

Problem

When I click on a file in a channel in Teams, it says “it has been moved or deleted.” Is there a way to recover it?

Solution

  1. Please go to Teams

  2. Go to the files tab

  3. Click on the Open in Sharepoint tab.

 

4. Once you are in Sharepoint, on the left side menu, there is a Recycle bin.

5. Select the file you want to recover and click on restore on the top ribbon.
