Adding/using/updating LastPass passwords

This is a quick guide on how to add/use/update passwords in LastPass.

 

  1. Adding sites to LastPass:

  2. When logged into LastPass anytime you log into a website you’ll be prompted to add your password to your vault

  3. Simply click the ‘Add’ button and it will be added to your vault.

 

  1. Using passwords

  2. When you have a password saved to your vault LastPass will prompt you to input it into websites. Simply click the LastPass icon on the right side of any password prompt.

    If there’s multiple logins for a website, they will all be listed. You can select which you would like to login with from the list.

 

  1. Updating Passwords

  2. If you update a password on any website while logged into LastPass, LastPass will ask if you want to update the current password.

  3. Simply click the ‘Update’ button and it will be updated in your vault.

 

Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.
