How to access another mailbox (add it to outlook)

If you have Read permission on another mailbox (User mailbox or a shared mailbox), there are two common ways to access it.

  1. Outlook.

  2. Browser (web outlook)

 

 

Outlook:

By default, any Mailbox you have access to should show up in your outlook when you restart it. If it doesn't not show up you can manually add it.

To Add a mailbox to your outlook :

o add immigration to your outlook try the following :

  1. Click “File” at the top right, then click info Account SettingsAccount Settings.

 2. Make sure your email is highlighted then click on Change → more settings → Add

3. Enter the email address of the mailbox to add to your outlook, then click OK next to apply configurations.

4. Fully close and then reopen outlook, the mailbox will start syncing. Find it on the left side and expand it to see mailbox folders such as inbox.

 

 

 

 

Browser:

To access a mailbox in the browser,

  1. head to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ , click your picture at the top right, then click open another mailbox .

2. Enter the email address of the mailbox to open then click open
