How do I change my email address for LastPass?

You can change the email address that you use to log in to your LastPass account, and send a test email for confirmation.

Instructions

1. Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:

   • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.

   • In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.

2. Select Account Settings in the left navigation.

3. Under Login Credentials, make your changes in the Account Email field.

4. Click Update.

5. Enter your Master Password, then click Confirm to save your changes.

Send a test email

1. Log in to LastPass and access your Vault by doing either of the following:

   • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.

   • In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.

2. Select Account Settings in the left navigation.

3. Under Login Credentials, click Send Test Email, then click OK.

4. Check your email inbox and confirm that you received a verification email from LastPass. If you don't see it, check your spam and junk email folders.
