Part-time and Full-time Employees

Problem

How many hours does a field consultant need to be working per week in order to be eligible for health insurance?

Solution

Epitec recognizes that a Consultant may request a change to the normally scheduled 40-hour workweek. In the event that a consultant requires a work schedule that consists of less than an average of 30 hours per week or at least 130 hours in a month, the consultant will be considered part-time. A part-time employee is not eligible for PTO, paid holiday time, company contribution to medical benefits, or any other benefits that require full-time employment in order to participate. If any change is made to the schedule, it is the consultant’s responsibility to submit a request through the Epitec Portal.
