Can't Upload Word Document

Problem

I am trying to attach a resume into a candidate's profile and it will not let me. I can attach the AQF but the resume will not work.

Solution

  1. Make sure that the Word document does not have any special characters on the title such as a dot ".'", apostrophe " ' ", etc. on the title.
  2. User is not able to add a word document that contains a link.
  3. User deleted the link and uploaded the resume.

  4. Make sure that the documents that you are uploading into ATS are saved as Word Document NO Word 97-2003 Document.

Problem: Word document version was not compatible with ATS, so the document was not able to be uploaded.

Solution: Copy/paste text into a new document and save as a Word Document. Then, upload the new version to ATS.
