Outlook Runs but Window won't Open

Step-by-step guide

Remove a profile (Applies to: Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010, and Outlook 2007) 

A profile consists of accounts, data files, and settings that specify where your email messages are saved. 

  1. Exit Outlook. 
  2. Open Control Panel by doing one of the following: 
    1. Click the Start button and type Control Panel. 
  3. Open Mail
    1. Click on User Accounts > Mail. 
  4. Choose Show Profiles. 
  5. Select a profile. 
  6. Click Remove and apply. 
  7. Re-add the users by click on the add tap. 


If that doesn’t work repair outlook 

  1. Go to Program and Features. 
  2. Select Microsoft 365 office. 
  3. Right-click on it and select change. 
  4. Check quick fix.
  5. Click on repair.
