Why am I not at my full 80 hours accrued by the end of the year?

Problem

I will not be at 80 hours by the end of the year, and I have worked consistently 40 hours a week.

Solution

You only accrued time during pay hours (regular or PTO). If you take unvoluntary unpaid time off, then you are losing the opportunity to maximize your PTO time. Note, some of the accruals in December do not get accrued into your bank until January 5th and January 12th. So that is when you should be around 80 hours.

Please see the payroll schedule for your further reference.

Also, you can view all of your accruals and deductions in the Epilink portal if you click on your available PTO hours on the right-hand side (View Accrued PTO in Epilink Employee Portal).
