Will you withhold any amount from my hourly rate on top of the amount that I will pay by period? If yes, how much?
Solution
Adding medical insurance to your compensation package does impact hourly rate. This is in addition to the weekly premiums deducted from your paycheck.
All other insurance benefits: dental, vision, STD/LTD etc. - do not impact your hourly rate. However, these benefits also have weekly premiums which will be deducted from your paycheck.
