Follow the following steps in order to add a shared-email account (such as immigration@epitec.com, deliverysupport@epitec.com, etc..) to an iPhone.
In order for you to be able to add a shared inbox to your Outlook app, you need to have access to the inbox.
Step-by-step guide
- Go to the settings on the phone and under mail select account.
- Select add account.
- Select other.
- Under other fill-up the form as follows:
IMAP ACCOUNT INFORMATION
Name: Shared email name e.g. Immigration
Email: immigration@epitec.com
Description: Immigration
Incoming Mail server
HostName: Outlook.Office365.com
Username: rbell@epitec.com/immigration
Password: ********
Outgoing Mail server
SMTP: smtp.office365.com
5. Select done or save.From the Outlook app
- Click on your picture.
- Click on the Gear icon
- Under Mail Accounts, click Add Mail Account, from the menu, click add Shared Mailbox
- type shared mailbox email address.
