Sometimes, your computer needs to be updated in order for your computer to run applications smoothly. Follow the steps below on how to update your computer.

Step-by-step guide

1. Click the windows logo on the bottom left corner of the screen.
   
2. Click settings (The one with the gear icon). 
3. Click on Update & Security
   
   
4. Click Check online for updates from Microsoft Update if you Update if you have the option. If not, click on check for updates. Usually, once you click Update & Security from step 3, it will sometimes automatically check updates for you.
   
5. During updating, it will sometimes ask you to restart your computer. Keep repeating steps 1-4 until your computer says that you are up-to-date.

1. Once the updates are done downloading and installing, restart your computer.
   1. Do NOT turn off your computer while updates are being downloaded/installed.
