How to Set up Openpath

OpenPath is the app used to access the doors to the Southfield office. Staff that has been granted access to the storage room also uses this app to open the storage room double door.

Go to your app store on your phone and find the OpenPath Mobile Access app. It will have an orange logo

Next, check your email for an invitation to use the Openpath to access the doors. It will come from Avigilon Alta setup@openpath.com

If you do not have outlook on your phone, you can forward this email to your personal email.

Enter your Epitec email on the app when it prompts you for the email.

The app will request access to your location and Bluetooth. You do not have to be at the office to set up, continue to follow the prompts.

Once set up, you will see your name and Epitec Inc. To view all doors you have access too, click the View All arrow.

The lobby doors will be unlocked during business hours (8 am - 4 pm EST, Monday - Friday) when there is staff working at the front desk.

To unlock the door, you will need to place your phone on the black readers on the wall by the door. You do not need to have the app open.

This app does not provide access to the doors to the building.
