If I were to take 8 hours of PTO and then work 12 hours on two separate days within the same payroll week, would the extra hours be seen as OT or as regular pay?
Overtime is only paid out on regular hours worked. Therefore, an employee could have 48 hours, but if 8 of those hours are PTO the employee would not get overtime.
