Problem

I had the ability to schedule WebEx meetings from my outlook calendar but today I noticed the option to add a WebEx meeting has disappeared. I've been using this feature to schedule meetings with Ford clients. Has this feature been disabled or could it be something on my end?

Solution

Admin access is required for the application to be installed.

  1. Log into the Webex web version

  2. Go to downloads

  3. Download WebEx productivity tool

  4. Run the application (it will require admin credentials)

  5. Close Outlook and re-open it

Other settings to check for:

From Outlook, enable the Webex plug-in (Outlook> file> options> ad-ins> com-adins> enable Webex)

Also verify that outlook integration option is enabled in webex desktop app under settings> preferences> integration/ calendar.
